mm-ADT, okc-fp, IoT

I've been spending a lot of time with Ryan Wisnesky and the mm-ADT team. https://www.wisnesky.net/dataday.pdf . It is still over my head, but I hope at some point to share what is going on over there. Links placed in this group #okc-fp have been helpful to me. I am hoping to apply what is going on over there to IoT. I have a hunch that if you have lots of devices connected, and you want to get data from them, you have to think about things is an abstract way because it seems safe to assume you won't have control over all of the devices or software used to store and process to data. Then again, all of this fell in my lap when approaching an IoT problem.
